Cheshire East Council is looking for a part time Strategic Practice Assurance and Development Manager to lead, inspire, and make a difference in adult social care. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join the Adult Services Social Care Reform, Practice Assurance and Development team as our Strategic Practice Assurance and Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to shape practice standards, drive improvement, and support our dedicated workforce to deliver outstanding care for the people of Cheshire East.
You’ll lead on practice assurance and development across Adult Social Care, contributing to ensuring our services are safe, effective, and person‑centred. You will work closely with practitioners and managers. Reporting to the Head of Service for Social Care Improvement, Practice Assurance and Development who is also the Principal Social Worker for Adults and based in Adult Social Care Operations, you will line manage a team of Professional Leads. Working closely with the Strategic Business Manager for Local Authority and Systems Assurance you will champion best practice, embed learning, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
