ACT is seeking a Planning and Programme Manager in Cardiff to lead the strategic planning cycle, programme portfolio, risk governance and business insights. The role reports to the Strategy & Planning function and collaborates with senior leaders and the Board.

The successful candidate will drive performance reporting, governance, and continuous improvement while developing the Strategy & Planning team and fostering cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating strategic planning, programme management and organisational performance
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and risk governance
• Ability to use business insight and performance data for evidence-led decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead ACT's annual strategic planning cycle with departments to deliver objectives
• Oversee the strategic project and programme portfolio with governance and delivery
• Develop and implement the organisational risk governance framework and corporate risk register
• Oversee the Business Insights function and ensure meaningful reporting for decision-making
• Produce strategic performance, risk and assurance reporting for Senior Leadership and Board
• Lead and develop the Strategy & Planning team and promote consistent approaches
• Build strong relationships across ACT and promote continuous improvement
