Job summary

Responsibilities

• Translate the Commercial Directors’ long-term vision into actionable workstreams, playing a leading role in developing and implementing the directorate’s functional strategy.
• Lead day-to-day business operations across the directorate, ensuring seamless delivery of central enabling functions and workplace services.
• Lead high-priority ad-hoc projects critical to the Director’s goals.
• Secure, monitor and manage the directorate’s budget, ensuring spending stays on track with priorities.
• Champion continuous process improvement to optimise ways of working, with robust compliance and risk management.
• Lead workforce planning, capacity and succession, and champion effective recruitment.
• Act as a key change agent, delivering internal communications and change readiness.
• Oversee directorate governance including agendas, actions, and bottleneck removal.
• Design and deliver clear internal communications to keep the directorate informed of strategic changes and updates.
