Job summary

The University of Warwick is seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to shape the University's future through strategic decision-making, coordination, planning and stakeholder engagement. You will lead strategic project plans, ensuring milestones and decision points are clearly defined and achieved.

You will provide leadership on deliverables coordination, proactively identify and solve problems, and manage risks, dependencies, and progress across multiple strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in project management and governance.
• Experience using strategic analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on coordinating deliverables to ensure consistent standards and timely milestones.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to address strategic challenges and support decision-making.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and progress tracking across multiple strategic initiatives.
• Support Strategic Planning in advancing core planning activities and driving continuous process improvement.
• Deliver executive support to steering groups, workstreams, and working groups as required.
• Identify process improvement initiatives within Strategic Planning, including developing SharePoint and creating KPIs.
