Job summary

Manchester City Football Club is seeking a People Programme and Project Manager to coordinate the People Programme and its governance across strategic change. The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid pattern, and is fixed-term through October 2027.

You will manage milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to keep delivery on track. You will also oversee the employee experience and engagement programme, ensuring clear governance papers and timely escalations as priorities

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programmes, portfolios, projects or strategic initiatives, ideally within an established PMO, programme or portfolio environment.
• Excellent organisational and planning capability to coordinate multiple priorities, milestones and workstreams.
• Experience maintaining programme governance, reporting, plans, documentation, risks, actions and dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-team reporting.
• The ability to identify dependencies and risks and drive practical resolutions.
• Delivery-focused, balancing governance with pace and practicality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the People Programme and the People function’s central governance and delivery mechanism for strategic change.
• Maintain programme plans, reporting, risks and dependencies and support stage-gate reviews.
• Programme manage the employee experience and engagement programme and related initiatives.
• Connect stakeholders and translate strategic priorities into practical delivery.
