Job summary

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is seeking a People Strategy Advisor (Inside IR35) for a London-based contract through 31/03/2027. The role leads workforce initiatives, collaborates with HR and PMO teams, and ensures effective governance of people processes in a fast-paced environment.

Essential: active SC clearance, Civil Service HR experience, workforce planning support, strong communication, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is essential.
• Experience in Civil Service HR with HR policies and workforce management.
• Experience supporting workforce planning or strategic people initiatives.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Experience leading or supporting business change or people change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Directorate's people strategy and align with HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business areas, HR BP, Finance and PMO to deliver workforce priorities.
• Lead and improve recruitment and workforce management processes, onboarding, induction and offboarding.
• Provide governance over recruitment campaigns and workforce planning across the Directorate.
• Build strong relationships with Deputy Directors and HR colleagues.
