Job summary

Monsoon Accessorize is looking for a Merchandiser to drive commercially effective product ranges across channels. You will collaborate with the Buyer and Designer to balance the range with trends, forecast stock implications, and optimise profitability through robust analysis.

• Experience in fashion retail merchandising across multiple departments.
• Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Experience developing and leading a team, guiding product direction and sign-offs.

• Demonstrate innovative thinking to improve processes and drive business.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs by channel to make profitable decisions.
• Develop and propose department strategy with Buyer and Designer.
• Plan future seasons by analysing past ranges and providing supporting analysis.
• Manage Critical Path with Buyer to meet deadlines and optimise stock.
• Collaborate with Buyer and Designer to balance range around trends.
• Trade the department, monitor performance, reforecast, and act to maximise profit.
• Manage KPIs to maximise net margin.
• Communicate regularly with ecommerce, retail, marketing and channel merchandising teams.
