Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking an intern for the UK & Ireland Corporate marketing team to support the delivery and implementation of the UK & Ireland and EMEA marketing strategy, and to provide operational support on day-to-day running of the function.

The role is fast-paced and hands-on, touching all aspects of the marketing programme from planning through to delivery of key initiatives. You will work with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to global marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be completing a sandwich course at university and due to graduate in 2029
• Applicants must be available for this placement year from 6th September 2027 to 25th August 2028
• Applicants must be predicted a 2:1 or above final grade (or equivalent) for their degree
• Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Ability to prioritise and manage time, workload and projects effectively
• Strong communication abilities, both verbally and in writing and comfortable communicating at all levels of an organisation
• Proactive workload management – Demonstrates the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, make time for important work, and proactively seek clarification or support when needed to keep work progressing and ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

• Support UK & Ireland marketing team to ensure efficient planning, execution, and measurement of campaigns and initiatives
• Help ensure best-in-class approaches to larger marketing investments, including briefing calls and packs
• Prepare presentations and regular reporting for EMEA leadership and global marketing teams
• Assist with digital and website content development and maintenance
• Create compelling communications for client mailings, newsletters and social media posts
• Support events management for internal and external events
• Assist with production of collateral, proofreading and liaising with creative teams
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategies
• Handle day-to-day tasks and ad hoc projects, including web and email inquiries and invoices
• Build social media assets and copy for upcoming activations
• Organise team tasks and record updates in meetings
• Collaborate with segment marketing teams on UK&I campaigns
