Reports to: Senior Manager, Strategic Relationships

Blackhawk Network is looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to join our EMEA team within the wider Strategic Partnerships organisation. You will drive strategic marketing excellence across the region. This is a unique hybrid role combining EMEA-level marketing strategy with hands‑on advisory support for one of our largest partners. This is a highly collaborative, relationship‑focused position working closely with internal partner teams.

Responsibilities:
EMEA Strategic Marketing (50%)

You will lead and support initiatives that shape the future of marketing across the region, including:

  • Identifying and driving new marketing revenue streams
  • Standardising, improving and embedding marketing processes across EMEA
  • Developing consistent, robust return‑on‑investment (ROI) methodologies for all markets
  • Partnering closely with the Strategic Partnerships team to elevate our marketing impact
Distribution Partner Support (50%)

You will provide marketing insight and advisory support to one of our largest major UK Supermarket Distribution Partner team:

  • Producing detailed ROI analysis to assess the effectiveness of promotions and activity
  • Advising on which marketing initiatives to invest in, based on performance data and best‑practice activity across similar partners
  • Supporting our largest major UK Supermarket Distribution Partner with creative campaign ideas and “out of the box” thinking for Channel Partners
  • Advising on rate cards, including costs, creative expectations, and commercial considerations
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Strategic Marketing Manager, National Account Manager or Key Account Manager
  • Ideally, direct experience managing large supermarkets as a customer
  • Strong background in retail marketing, ideally from publishing, entertainment, gaming or the drinks industry
  • Ability to analyse marketing performance and turn data into actionable insights
  • A relationship‑driven mindset with the confidence to influence and advise internal teams
  • Commercial acumen and a passion for improving process, structure, and ROI
