Job summary

Plan A Digital in London is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for an initial 12-month FTC with potential to perm. The role blends strategic architecture leadership with hands-on solution design across a complex enterprise technology estate.

You will drive architecture reviews, define patterns and work with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Solutions Architect or Enterprise Solution Architect.
• Strong enterprise systems integration and API architecture experience.
• Experience across cloud-based and SaaS technology environments.
• The ability to combine strategic architecture thinking with detailed technical design.
• Experience working with third-party delivery partners and technology suppliers.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing scalable, secure and supportable enterprise solutions
• Producing solution architecture designs, technical artefacts and integration patterns
• Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Leading architecture reviews and challenging designs produced by internal teams and external partners
• Defining API, systems integration and architecture standards
• Simplifying the technology estate through platform consolidation, standardisation and reuse
• Evaluating technology decisions against business value, risk and Total Cost of Ownership
• Supporting the development of cloud, data, automation and AI capabilities
• Presenting architecture options and recommendations to senior stakeholders
