Job summary

Cirrus Selection is seeking a Lead Buyer for an IT transformation programme based in Stevenage. You will own procurement strategy from RFI/RFP through to contract and supplier performance, shaping scope and delivering value across international stakeholders.

The role combines end-to-end procurement leadership with a high-profile transformation, on-site two days a week in Stevenage, and a competitive package including a strong bonus and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Solid experience running complex, strategic procurement projects or programmes across IT or technology
• Comfortable building and negotiating statements of work and commercial contracts
• Experience developing or running a supplier relationship management (SRM) approach
• Confidence leading end-to-end RFI/RFP processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills across international teams

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement across the IT transformation programme end to end
• Run strategic RFI and RFP activity to identify market players and supply partners
• Negotiate contracts and define scope, statements of work and supplier performance
• Build out a supplier relationship management strategy from scratch and manage performance once live
