Job summary

Head4Talent represents a Cardiff-based service sector business seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a 12-month maternity cover. Hybrid working and senior finance leadership role are offered.

You will lead an experienced finance team, oversee financial reporting, management accounts, and statutory accounts, and partner with the exec team on budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience at FC or Head of Finance level.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Experience of supporting and driving key business improvement programmes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an experienced finance team in financial reporting, preparation of management accounts, and annual statutory accounts.
• Contribute to key business change projects including IT upgrade.
• Responsible for board reporting, budgeting & forecasting and FP&A activities.
• Act as a business partner to the wider business and work closely with the exec team to produce relevant and timely information for use in the strategic planning process.
