Job summary

West Midlands Police is seeking a skilled Analyst to develop and use analytical products that support decision making at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. The role involves producing insights from intelligence and investigations and presenting findings to senior staff.

This office-based position requires on-site attendance and engagement with various internal and external stakeholders to understand crime and vulnerability threats and to deliver comprehensive analytical outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience collating, evaluating, and processing data to identify patterns and trends.
• Proficient with data analysis tools and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic, tactical, or operational analysis to identify threats, risks, and patterns.
• Develop intelligence collection plans and communicate them to key stakeholders.
• Produce clear briefing notes and presentations for senior officers and external partners.
