Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking an Integrated Commissioning Manager to lead development and delivery of commissioning strategies across Children, Young People and Families. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to shape services that improve outcomes for children and families in Hull.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and experience in procurement, contract management and performance frameworks, with a focus on value for money and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of commissioning, service development or transformation within public sector, health, social care or related services.
• Experience of working across organisational boundaries and developing effective partnerships.
• Strong project and programme management skills.
• Experience of analysing data and translating insights into service improvements.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract management and performance frameworks.
• Experience of managing competing priorities in a complex and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of commissioning strategies, programmes and projects across a range of service areas.
• Work collaboratively with partners across council, health, voluntary and community sectors to ensure services are evidence-based, outcome-focused and meet local needs.
• Provide expert advice and leadership on commissioning, contract management and service development.
• Ensure commissioned services achieve quality, value for money and continuous improvement.
• Manage a portfolio of diverse projects and programmes with measurable outcomes and deadlines.
