Job summary

Publica Group Ltd is seeking an Insurance Officer to join its shared insurance service, supporting multiple councils and Ubico. The role focuses on protecting organizations from insurable risks and delivering a professional insurance service across fleet, property and public liability.

You’ll work across insurance, claims, risk, and financial administration, building strong relationships with clients and insurers. The role involves improving processes, guiding inspections and reducing costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance-related role.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and liability claims.
• Ability to guide risk management and provide sound professional advice.
• Proven resilience and calm under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of insurance services across partner organisations.
• Manage own caseload with prompt claims investigation and closure.
• Assist to identify opportunities to reduce risk and prevent claims.
• Support financial administration of insurance funds and budgets.
• Record, analyze and report insurance data for decision making.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues and external insurers.
