PROGRESSIO is seeking an experienced Strategic Buyer – Indirects to lead sourcing across indirect spend areas. You will work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, benchmark markets and drive value through robust category strategies.

Your background in indirect purchasing, strong negotiation abilities and data analysis will enable you to deliver measurable improvements and contribute to procurement excellence within a fast-paced consumer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic procurement, indirect purchasing or strategic sourcing.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of supplier markets and dynamics.
• Experience developing and executing category or sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies across indirect spend areas.
• Analyse spend, supplier and market data to identify commercial opportunities.
• Conduct benchmarking, opportunity assessments, cost modelling and root-cause analysis.
• Research supplier markets, industry developments and market dynamics.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve value and mitigate risk.
• Lead sourcing projects from analysis to supplier selection, negotiation and contract.
• Support contract development, negotiation and ongoing management.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and performance monitoring.
• Establish supplier KPIs, scorecards and analytical tools to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver commercially effective solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide procurement insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Share knowledge across the procurement function.
