Job summary

RBW Consulting is recruiting a Procurement Manager for a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation. The role focuses on indirect spend, professional services and contingent workforce, with governance over supplier relations, contracts and cost optimization.

You will partner with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, and deliver measurable value in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a flexible hybrid UK footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience with professional services and/or contingent workforce spend.
• Strong supplier relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
• Track record of delivering cost savings and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Procurement qualification (CIPS) preferred.
• Life Science domain experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies across indirect spend categories.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Manage procurement projects relating to professional services and contingent labour providers.
• Drive supplier performance, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Support procurement governance and ensure compliance with policies and processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
