Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Limited is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to align people strategy with regional operations in the Southern Counties. You will advise senior leaders, drive organisational development and serve as a trusted partner across the business.

You will lead change programmes, manage employee relations, and champion an inclusive culture while analysing HR data to enable evidence-based decisions and sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Significant HR experience within a large, complex operation.
• Experience as Senior HRBP or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER practices.
• Proven ability to lead organisational change and transformations.
• Experience in talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop HR strategies aligned to regional and business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Lead complex employee relations matters with fair, compliant outcomes.
• Support organisational change programmes, restructures, and transformations.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, retention, and leadership development.
• Champion employee engagement and foster an inclusive high-performing culture.
• Analyse people data and HR metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Collaborate with Reward, L&D, and Recruitment to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
