South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across the group, advising managers and supporting delivery of service plans. The role emphasizes employee relations, policy development and ensuring safeguarding compliance while coordinating with the Head of HR (Operations).

The successful candidate will oversee job evaluations, inductions, and cost monitoring, with CIPD Level 7 preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational HR role leading an HR team.
• Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Experience with employee relations casework (grievances, disciplinaries, capability, absence).
• Knowledge of UK/EU employment law and safeguarding matters.

Responsabilités

• Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR matters.
• Assist with delivery of service plans and achieving targets.
• Lead on employee relations casework and ACAS negotiations where needed.
• Support induction sessions for new staff and organize related arrangements.
• Monitor and review HR function costs within budget.
