Job summary

Wokingham Borough Council is seeking an experienced Housing Strategy Project Manager on an interim basis to lead the development of a robust, evidence-led housing strategy and action plan. Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategic housing needs or housing policy.
• Proven ability to develop housing-related strategies (e.g., Affordable/Housing strategies).
• Strong knowledge of local housing needs, assessments and housing market evidence.
• Experience in leading consultations and engaging a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a statutory supported housing strategy and action plan.
• Coordinate housing needs analysis and evidence gathering to build a credible base.
• Engage with elected Members, providers, ASC, Children’s Services, Public Health and NHS partners.
