Job summary

Ordnance Survey is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead and evolve our security capabilities. The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and drives strategy, governance and incident response across the organisation.

You will collaborate with technology, product, operations and corporate functions to ensure security is practical, proportionate and integrated into delivery. A strong leadership and risk-management background is essential.

Qualifications

• DV clearance required.
• Hybrid (minimum of 4 days a week in Southampton)

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation, delivery and continual improvement of OS’s Information Security capability.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Security Strategy and roadmap.
• Provide expert Information Security advice, guidance and assurance, ensuring security is embedded in change and delivery.
• Lead the response to cyber and information security incidents and manage threats/risks.
• Lead cyber and information security risk management activities and reporting.
• Develop security metrics and insights to support decision-making and performance.
