Job summary

Parkside School in Cobham, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the school’s financial function. Reporting to the Bursar, you will provide high-quality financial insight, challenge to senior leaders and Governors, and oversee planning, reporting and internal controls.

The role requires significant senior-level finance experience, excellent technical knowledge and a collaborative, proactive approach to improve processes and resource use within the Parkside community.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant senior-level finance experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Commercial awareness and forward-thinking.
• Motivated by process improvement and efficiency.
