Job summary

Foods Connected is seeking a high-impact FP&A professional to join the finance function. Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a strategic partner, shaping planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis across the group in a fast-growing, multi-currency environment.

You will build and maintain financial models, interrogate CRM and product data for revenue insight, support acquisition integrations, and contribute to ERP implementation and post-merger integration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 4–6 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in FP&A or commercial finance in tech/SaaS/subscription models.
• Strong financial modelling in multi-scenario models with high accuracy.
• Confident communicator with ability to challenge senior management.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with ERP implementation from a finance workstream perspective.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, LTV, Rule of 40.
• Experience with CRM or product analytics data (HubSpot, Salesforce) translating operational metrics into financial insight.
• Proven track record of supporting or leading financial aspects of an M&A integration.
• Knowledge of food, agri-food, or supply chain technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual business planning and reforecasting cycle with the CFO and senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain the group’s financial model, including ARR drivers and multi-currency consolidation.
• Lead commercial analysis to support pricing decisions and customer profitability assessments.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for the CFO, Board, and investors.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards and KPIs for department heads across Sales, CS, Implementation, Product, and Operations.
• Define KPIs with department heads and track performance with variance analysis and actionable commentary.
• Conduct regular variance analysis against budget and prior periods with clear recommendations.
• Extract and analyse data from CRM systems (HubSpot) and other platforms to build a complete commercial picture.
• Provide recurring and ad-hoc analyses on pipeline health, ARR movement, churn, retention, and services utilization.
• Support the financial integration of acquisitions, due diligence, and post-merger milestones.
• Lead ERP implementation planning from a finance perspective and support system configuration testing.
