Job summary

SRM Recruitment is supporting a highly acquisitive software business by recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to help with post-acquisition integration and reporting for a growing portfolio of tech companies. You will develop FP&A skills, support M&A teams, produce GAAP accounts, board packs, budgets, KPI dashboards, and SOPs, while acting as a trusted finance partner across the group.

Qualifications

• ACA or equivalent qualification from a top-tier firm.
• Experience in transaction services, corporate finance, valuations and audit.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
• Genuine interest in software and entrepreneurial businesses.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate GAAP accounts, board packs, budgets and KPI reporting for portfolio companies.
• Review the finance function's output—from GL postings to revenue recognition and variance commentary.
• Analyse budget vs actuals and benchmark each business against the wider portfolio.
• Support M&A on financial and operational integration and deliver process improvements under each deal case.
• Build ad hoc reports and dashboards for CEOs with a clear live view of their business.
• Write SOPs so best practice scales across the group.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, offering practical advice wherever needed.
