Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Fleet Disposal Manager to oversee the disposal of plant, equipment and vehicles across divisions. You will coordinate asset disposal processes, auctions, refurbishments and reporting while leading the Asset Disposal and Damage & Loss Teams.

You will drive best routes for disposal, ensure timely processing of claims, and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across the UK. An emphasis on KPI achievement and IT proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a fleet disposals team/function.
• Excellent approach and first-class people skills.
• Proven record of building and maintaining customer relationships and adhering to KPIs.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office packages.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of plant/equipment lifecycle and valuation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the disposal of plant, equipment and vehicles across all divisions.
• Act as central point of contact for asset disposal (including auctions) and for damage & loss, refurbishments and asset reporting.
• Take full management responsibility for the Asset Disposal and Damage & Loss Teams.
• Determine best routes for asset disposal and ensure damage and loss claims are processed accurately and timely.
