Morgan McKinley is partnering with an ambitious client to recruit a Financial Controller who will operate at board level, translating financial insight into strategic decisions. This is a high-visibility, front-foot role bridging operations finance with executive governance, based in Milton Keynes and on-site.

The ideal candidate is ACA or ACCA qualified, with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics experience and a proven track record delivering system implementations and robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified (essential).
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics; successful finance system implementations or major upgrades.
• Exceptional interpersonal and face-to-face communication skills for board presentations.
• Proven background as a Financial Controller with technical accounting and commercial foresight.

Responsibilities

• Board-Level Influence: design, produce, and present board packs.
• Executive Partnering: partner with leadership to present financial narratives to board members.
• Systems & Process Transformation: lead finance technology initiatives and optimize Microsoft Dynamics.
• Financial Leadership: manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting with strong controls.
• Commercial Analysis: provide robust financial analysis to support growth and profitability.
