Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Senior Finance Manager - Planning to lead group-wide planning, forecasting and value management. You will partner with senior finance leaders and transformation teams to challenge financial plans, translate insights into executive actions and drive performance across Outlook, MTP, QBRs and MBRs.

The role requires exceptional stakeholder management and strong commercial judgement to shape the group’s performance agenda and deliver value creation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant senior finance experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Deep understanding of planning, forecasting, performance management, value management and financial governance.
• Proven ability to translate complex and ambiguous financial information into clear executive insight, choices and actions.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgement, with ability to assess value, risk, opportunity and trade-offs across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the Group framework for risks, opportunities, value drivers and performance across the full planning and performance cycle.
• Lead enterprise performance insight, ensuring senior leaders understand material drivers, choices and interventions.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity analysis to support executive decisions on risk, value protection and investment choices.
• Develop clear recommendations and materials for CFO, ExCo and Board-level conversations.
