Bedford Girls' School is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Finance & Operations to join our Senior Leadership Team. The DFO leads finance, estates, IT, catering and other operational functions, shaping financial strategy and ensuring smooth school operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Finance, Estates, IT, Catering and other operational teams.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, data protection, and regulatory standards.
• Manage capital development and long-term estate planning.
• Support governance and risk management processes and act as Clerk to the Governors.
