Job summary

Car Finance 247 is recruiting a fully qualified Finance Manager to join our professional services finance team. You will lead financial reporting, FP&A and business partnering across the group, driving accurate reporting and insightful analysis.

You will work with the CFO and senior leaders, shaping performance insights and supporting strategic decisions. The role offers a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment within an owner‑managed business near Manchester.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant
• Dynamic and ambitious with a proactive mindset
• Able to manage changing priorities and fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, IT literate (Excel, Word, etc)
• Organised with strong attention to detail and a drive to improve processes

Responsibilities

• Accuracy of accounting records and completion of key reconciliations across the group
• Preparation of management and statutory accounts
• Calculation of key accounting estimates and management of the external audit
• Financial planning and analysis to support group growth and investment decisions
• Business partnering with the CFO, wider finance function and business leaders across Car Finance 247 and group companies
• Identification and enhancement of controls and processes
• Producing clear, informed management information that supports decision-making at every level
