Job summary

C2 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an established animal welfare charity seeking a Head of Finance & Corporate Services to join the Senior Leadership Team and steer financial strategy, governance and corporate services.

Hybrid working in Dorset; £55,000-£65,000 per annum, full-time permanent role. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, HR, IT, procurement, and system improvements, partnering with the CEO and Trustees.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant with senior finance experience.
• Strong track record in financial planning, governance and analysis.
• Experience or understanding of HR, IT, procurement or digital transformation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO, SLT and Trustees.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning and scenario modelling.
• Produce management accounts, KPIs and financial reporting for decision-making.
• Ensure robust controls, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee statutory accounts, audits and Charity Commission reporting.
• Manage cash flow, reserves, legacy income and treasury matters.
• Provide strategic oversight of outsourced HR and IT services.
• Lead procurement and relationships with advisers.
• Support digital transformation and organisational change.
• Develop and support the corporate services function.
