Cape Consulting (HR) Ltd is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Manager to act as an external consultant for a diverse portfolio of growing SMEs, charities, and mission-led organisations across the UK. You will handle difficult conversations, investigations and complex workplace issues with empathy and commercial awareness.

You will coach founders and managers, delivering legally compliant yet pragmatic ER solutions, while aligning interventions with business strategy and growth ambitions.

Qualifications

• Proven ER management experience in a consultancy, B2B or multi-site environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelines.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into practical advice for clients.

Responsabilités

• Provide pragmatic, commercially sound ER advice on disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and absence management.
• Lead and conduct thorough workplace investigations, appeals and mediations.
• Partner with client leadership to align ER interventions with business strategy and growth.
