Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our IT team at the Head Office in South Shields.

You will establish and lead the enterprise architecture discipline, defining both current-state and target-state architectures across business systems, data, integrations and infrastructure as Barbour undergoes transformation. You will create multi-year technology roadmaps, chair the EA Committee, and oversee major programs including ERP, PIM, PLM, cloud and ecommerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Significant IT experience including architecture roles, preferably in an end user environment.
• Experience in manufacturing/consumer goods/wholesale or distribution sectors.
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems (Infor M3 CloudSuite) and integration systems (MuleSoft, Oracle SOA Suite, IBM WebSphere MQ).
• Experience designing architectures for PIM, PLM, EDI, ecommerce and data platforms.
• TOGAF certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management with exec-level influence.
• Confident leader with problem-solving and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Enterprise Architecture practice with governance.
• Define current-state and future-state architectures across domains.
• Create multi-year technology roadmaps aligned to business growth.
• Chair the Enterprise Architecture Committee and govern key architectural decisions.
• Provide architectural oversight for major transformation programs (ERP, PIM, PLM, cloud, ecommerce).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural recommendations.
• Define integration patterns, data flows and application interactions.
• Advise IT and business leadership while coaching delivery teams on best practices.
• Promote consistency and reuse across platforms and support vendor evaluation processes.
