Job summary

Cititec has partnered with a leading utilities business to recruit an experienced Enterprise Architect for a London-based, hybrid role. The role covers the energy supply lifecycle from customer acquisition to settlements, driving scalable, sustainable technology through strategic roadmaps and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Domain, Solution, Lead or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience in Energy, Utilities or regulated, high-volume industry.
• Strong understanding of energy supply processes (metering, billing, payments, contracts, settlements).
• Experience developing target architectures and technology transformation roadmaps.
• Track record of technology rationalisation, platform strategy and governance.
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking including understanding of technology investment and total cost of ownership.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of security, resilience and regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support analysis and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture and technology roadmap for Energy Supply.
• Shape technology strategy across customer, commercial, operational, finance and data platforms.
• Influence platform selection, investment and technology reuse decisions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and modernise the technology estate.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Operations and Data teams.
• Provide architectural governance across major programmes and initiatives.
• Ensure solutions consider security, resilience, compliance, cost and long-term sustainability.
• Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex architectural decisions clearly.
