Job summary

This mid-senior level role involves managing the procurement cycle, supplier performance, and metrics. Key responsibilities include supplier management, negotiation of agreements, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates will have a technical qualification, strong Excel skills, and experience with MRP systems. This is a contract position focusing on engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Preferred technical qualification is HNC/HND or Degree.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis are essential.
• Experience with MRP systems such as JD Edwards E1, SAP, or Oracle is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage approved suppliers and implement optimal commercial solutions.
• Negotiate and oversee Service Level Agreements for various metrics.
• Lead and develop buyers while managing objectives and performance.
• Track procurement metrics and drive supplier improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to address material availability and forecasts.
• Participate in supplier assessments and pricing initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy in the ERP system for part details and costs.
• Resolve purchase price variances and manage supplier issues.
