Job summary

Rowden in Bristol is seeking an Engagement Manager to build and manage speculative opportunities in government and defence sectors, leading capture activities and shaping proposals to meet mission needs.

You will develop relationships with customers and partners, coordinate with pre-sales and delivery teams, and drive win themes across major programmes, while leveraging Rowden's edge in sensing, AI, and secure communications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or advising government customers to achieve business goals, or equivalent sector experience.
• Experience leading or contributing to complex bids and consortia.
• Strong relationship-building with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and commercial contexts.
• Commercial acumen with understanding of large opportunity pricing and terms.

Responsibilities

• Develop capture plans for large opportunities (£5m+).
• Lead consortium and partner development to enable winning bids.
• Engage with customers to demonstrate Rowden’s capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with solution architects, pre-sales, and delivery teams to articulate requirements and commitments.
