Job summary

KLA seeks a strategic Buyer to lead sourcing and supplier management across electrical components and assemblies. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance and lead negotiations to secure best-value outcomes.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to support new product introductions and supplier development, delivering measurable cost and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Logistics or related field
• CIPS MCIPS qualification desirable but not crucial
• Experience in electrical, electronics, engineering or manufacturing procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electrical components and assemblies
• Own strategic supplier relationships and drive cost, quality, delivery improvements
• Lead RFQ/RFP activities, negotiations and contract discussions
• Analyze supplier cost structures and market data for commercial decisions
• Present sourcing strategies and supplier performance to leadership
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering and continuous improvement across the supply base
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to support innovation and growth
• Collaborate with Engineering for new product introductions and supplier development
• Oversee supplier performance through metrics and reviews
• Travel within the UK to support supplier engagement, occasional international travel
