• Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Rules and regulatory context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the University's procurement strategy and policy frameworks.
• Lead and manage a professionally qualified procurement team and improve capability.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives and oversee projects with an emphasis on value for money.
• Provide guidance on complex contracts including legal and procedural issues.
• Oversee capital tenders and strategic partnerships with Estates & Buildings and Finance.
