Job summary

Barclays is hiring an XDP Data Architect to shape data structures, governance and usage across the bank. You will define enterprise-wide data models and establish architectural standards, enabling secure, reliable data for stakeholders.

Working with engineering, operations, analytics, and business teams, you will drive data integration, governance and platform capabilities to deliver scalable data solutions for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Data modelling and Data Architecture Design expertise.
• Experience in governance and stewardship of data assets.
• Knowledge of data integration and platform architecture.
• Understanding of standardised governance for data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define the bank's target data architecture and data models.
• Collaborate with data operations, engineers and analysts to promote standardized data usage.
• Govern data architecture governance, standards and protection policies.
• Align projects to the target data architecture and monitor progress.
• Define reusable data capabilities and ensure seamless data access.
