Job summary

Ealing Council is recruiting a Corporate Data Analyst to join the MTFS Board PMO on a full‑time basis. You will lead analytical work to support strategic commissioning and transformation across the organisation, enabling data driven decision making to implement the medium term financial strategy.

You will prepare, manage, and analyse data to generate insights, guide best practices across teams, and promote ethical data use while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau with advanced MS Excel, Access and Business Objects.
• Skilled in analytical languages including Python, R and SQL to design, test and document analytical solutions.
• Experienced with large datasets: extracting, cleansing, linking and validating data from diverse sources.
• Demonstrates strong quantitative analysis, forecasting methods and interpretation of statistical information.
• Able to develop models and systems using appropriate data tools for organisational challenges.
• Skilled at presenting data insights through dashboards to support decision making.
• Identifies opportunities for data-driven products and services to improve service delivery.
• Implements data governance, improves data quality and promotes ethical data use.
