Job summary

Randstad Technologies in London is seeking an experienced Cyber Analyst to join a specialist Security team on a 6-month staff augmentation project for a leading UK financial services organisation.

You will lead cybersecurity initiatives across major UK retail and wealth entities, bridging technical risk and business strategy while working with senior executives and the UK CISO. Hybrid role with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cybersecurity control design, operations, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Security Compliance and Client Data Protection (CDP) experience at intermediate level.
• Proven experience communicating with C-suite, boards and regulators in fast-paced financial environments.
• Leadership of cybersecurity initiatives and cross-functional teams in global settings.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals, risk appetite, and regulator-ready governance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary cybersecurity liaison to senior leadership, Boards, regulators, and business/technology teams.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure robust control design, compliance with international frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR), and lead audit/assessment readiness.
• Incident Leadership & Response: Oversee incident response frameworks and lead multi-faceted teams through critical security incidents.
• Governance & Board Reporting: Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable business intelligence and reports for executive committees.
• Culture & Policy Awareness: Promote a customer-centric security culture across entities, driving security awareness and continuous improvement.
