ASCO - Workforce Solutions is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure cross-border movements comply with UK, EU, and international legislation. The role oversees regulatory adherence across import/export processes, maintains audit-ready documentation, and implements controls to minimise compliance risk and delays.

You will manage HMRC authorisations, customs warehousing and bonded stock compliance, and identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of UK customs legislation, tariff classification, valuation rules.
• Experience with CDS and port community systems.
• Experience managing HMRC authorisations and bonded stock compliance.
• Auditing, risk assessment, and corrective action experience.
• Proven expertise in multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.
• AEO compliance experience is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Ensure crossborder movements comply with UK, EU, and international regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and implement controls.
• Manage HMRC authorisations and bonded stock compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls.
• Liaise with HMRC, Border Force, port authorities, and carriers.
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and partners.
• Coordinate with global compliance teams for alignment across jurisdictions.
