Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager or Associate Director to join our Business Tax Advisory team in the Oxford-Milton Keynes-Cambridge arc. You will develop strong client relationships with mid-market clients and provide advisory services across CIR, Patent Box, and R&D, ensuring compliance and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACA and/or CTA (or qualified by experience).
• Experience with a portfolio of medium sized groups providing corporate tax advisory services.
• Strong technical tax knowledge, especially for medium sized businesses.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory work.
• Experience collaborating on cross-service-line projects (M&A, risk, consulting).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with mid-market clients and manage their needs while maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Advise on complex areas of legislation impacting mid-market clients (CIR, Patent Box, R&D).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the firm to deliver holistic tax solutions.
• Negotiate fees and manage WIP across a client portfolio.
• Innovate using technology and drive continuous process improvement and team development.
