Strategic Consultant

Location: West Street, Chichester, PO191RG

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 4+ months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 56.80 per hour

Job Responsibilities
  • Review current alternative provision services and SEND provision using the 3-tier model.
  • Plan a sustainable 3-tier service for Alternative Provision (AP).
  • Support the creation of the Local Area Inclusion Plan (LAIP) and forecast future demand for alternative provision.
  • Engage with providers to meet demand effectively.
  • Focus on early identification of needs and inclusion.
  • Advise on strategic and individual commissioning of services to improve mainstream school provision.
  • Develop resources to monitor impact and effectiveness.
  • Develop the council's strategy for Appropriate and Alternative Provision.
Must Have
  • Ability to promote inclusion to all stakeholders.
  • Skill in leading cultural change and influencing others.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborative work.
  • Passion for and knowledge of appropriate and alternative provision.
  • Understanding of commissioning services.
