Job summary

MCR Property Group in Ardwick, Manchester, is seeking a Senior Construction Finance Manager to oversee financial governance across multiple construction projects. You will partner with senior management to drive profitability and manage risk.

This is a full-time role operating in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The role requires ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent, strong commercial acumen, and hands-on experience with CIS and VAT.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Extensive senior-level finance experience in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial acumen with large-scale project support.
• Excellent financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial aspects of construction projects from tender through to completion.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Oversee contract valuations, cost reporting and financial risk management.
• Lead the finance team and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Produce monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations.
