Job summary

Sefton Council in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to partner with the Regeneration, Economy and Assets Directorate, and to work within Sefton Council's Corporate Communications team. The role spans internal and external communications, media/PR, stakeholder engagement and reputation management.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, services and partners to deliver clear, engaging messages.

Qualifications

• Strong communications delivery and storytelling across internal and external audiences.
• Ability to advise, influence and build relationships with senior leaders and partners.
• Experience coordinating communications across multiple programmes and teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a communications business partner to the Regeneration, Economy and Assets Directorate within Sefton Council's Corporate Communications team.
• Provide trusted communications advice and turn complex activity into clear and engaging messages for different audiences (internal and external).
• Support forward planning, and provide senior communications support and cover when required.
