Job summary

Unilever is offering a 12-month Industrial Placement Programme in the UK for undergraduates to tackle real business challenges. The placement sits in Communications & Corporate Affairs, exposing you to strategic storytelling, media relations and sustainability work while learning from experienced professionals.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across Corporate Centre or Business Groups, with mentoring and a development plan to help you grow personally and professionally during the year.

Qualifications

• No specific degree subject is required; studies in communications, journalism, public relations or related fields encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support campaigns to build understanding and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create content for digital, social media, web and internal communications channels.
• Support media relations activity, thought leadership and executive visibility initiatives.
• Monitor emerging issues, reputation trends and policy developments that could impact Unilever.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform business decisions and stakeholder engagement strategies.
