This is a remote position.

The Role

In this exciting role you will mainly be supporting our strategic communication services and would also contribute to our other services including cleantech commercialisation and social design. Your responsibilities could change over time as the project base evolves and as you develop your own projects. We currently need support in the following areas :

  • Deliver strategic communication advisory services to clients in various countries and industries primarily startups technology developers governments and research organisations
  • Create content and implement effective storytelling for a variety of clients to reach and engage with their audiences through different channels (e.g. websites social media presentations brochures articles and talking points)
  • Develop strategic communication plans for stakeholder engagement including clients interactions with customers policymakers community members investors regulators influencers and the general public
  • Manage and mature Helixos science communication training and workshop program; investigate developing an online learning course
  • Provide branding and communication insights to clients; keep abreast of innovative approaches to reach key audiences on complex topics
  • Identify and engage with potential partners customers and other stakeholders for our clients
  • Manage branding marketing and communications for Helixos including content creation for various channels such as the website blog social media and newsletter
  • Engage with external stakeholders about Helixos services and identify areas for collaboration

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing communication and marketing strategies in high-tech environments preferably within clean tech or energy sectors
  • Expertise in written and visual content creation; excellent writing editing and graphic design skills
  • Experience in or a deep understanding of the consulting environment
  • Passion for cutting-edge technology and its role in sustainable development
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into digestible content
  • International perspective with a motivation to make a global impact
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to both understand details and reflect on the big picture
  • Ability to be self-directed and work in a remote setting
  • Eager to have a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and develop work of high quality in often tight deadlines

This position is open to individuals who are eligible for employment in Australia the United States or the United Kingdom.

This position may involve access to nuclear technical data regulated under U.S. 10 CFR Part 810. To comply with U.S. export control laws only applicants who are citizens of the United States Australia United Kingdom and / or countries generally authorized under 10 CFR Part 810 will be considered.
