Job summary

Knight Education in Yateley, Hampshire is seeking a committed Careers Lead from January 2027. This permanent, part-time role runs four days a week (Monday-Thursday) with a salary of £28,000-£34,000 FTE.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English Grade C (4/5) or above.
Level 6 Diploma in Careers Advice and Guidance or working towards it.

Responsibilities

Deliver the school’s careers programme guided by a strategic plan reflecting priorities.
Prepare and implement a careers education curriculum across the school.
Plan 1:1 Careers Guidance for key year groups and ensure statutory compliance for independent guidance.
Brief and support staff involved in careers education.
Monitor Gatsby Benchmarks using Compass+ and internal evaluation.
Manage Mentors delivering careers sessions and provide support as appropriate.
Manage the careers section of the school website and keep information up to date.
