Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a strategic Buying Lead for Dropship to define and grow categories at the forefront of customer trends. You will partner with specialist buying teams to unlock opportunities, expand range and deliver a seamless customer proposition across Pet Tech, Dropship, Licensing and Brand Collaborations.

You'll identify emerging trends, launch innovative products and partnerships, and drive commercial performance while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Buying experience within Retail, FMCG, Home or Fashion
• Strong commercial awareness and category management skills
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing key partnerships

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for Emerging Categories Accessories
• Lead Dropship proposition across Accessories and grow range
• Own and grow the Pet Tech category with new products and innovations
• Build relationships with licensing partners, brands and agencies for exclusive collections
• Develop opportunities across gifting, personalisation and pet lifestyle products
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercially favorable agreements
• Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Technical, VM and Multi-Channel teams to implement ideas
