Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires experience in sourcing and commodity management.
• Experience in engineering manufacturing is essential.
• Knowledge level comparable to a bachelor's degree or equivalent workplace experience.

Responsibilities

• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers; negotiate terms.
• Transmit information to Procurement; manage related commercial sourcing activities and data analysis.
• Resolves issues within established procedures and seeks guidance for out-of-policy items.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as interface between customer and GE.
• Explain and convey technical information to others.
